At the Conservatory of Music and Dance, our Musical Theater Classes provide an exciting introduction to acting, singing, and dance for students who love performing and want to develop strong stage skills. These classes are designed for beginners and advanced beginners, offering a welcoming environment where every child can grow in confidence, creativity, and technique.

Our program teaches essential musical theater foundations, including character development, vocal projection, rhythm, movement, storytelling, and ensemble work. Students learn how to combine acting, singing, and dance — the core elements of triple-threat training — while building stage presence and performance readiness. Classes move at an age-appropriate pace and include fun warm-ups, theatre games, script work, and simple choreography that prepares students for more advanced training or future COMAD productions.

We welcome new students throughout the season, and families appreciate the flexibility of our registration system. Our Fall Season runs from September through June, and tuition is charged on the 1st of each month. If a student begins mid-month, our accounting system will automatically prorate tuition for you. As soon as you register, you will receive access to your Customer Portal, which allows you to manage your account, update billing, and view class information at any time through the top menu of our website.

We also offer TRY A CLASS options for classes that list “TRIAL” in their title. Simply click “Register” on any class that offers a trial, attend the class, and let us know if you would like to continue. Our Musical Theater classes tend to fill quickly; classes listed below currently have openings and will be removed from the schedule once full.

If your child is a more experienced performer or advanced student, please contact our office so we can guide you to the appropriate placement. We are happy to help at 215-699-6500 or info@PaPerformingArts.com.

Families may withdraw at any time, permanently or temporarily, by visiting their Customer Portal and submitting the online withdrawal form. We strive to make the process smooth and parent-friendly so your child can participate in a way that works best for your schedule.
