DANCE INTENSIVE and CAMPS
COMAD SUMMER INTENSIVE PROGRAMS
Required for Company & Corps Tracks | Open to the Public
At COMAD, summer intensives are a required part of our training model for Company and Corps dancers. These intensives are designed to prepare students technically, physically, and artistically for the upcoming season.
Beginning this year, Company and Corps dancers are required to complete summer intensives rather than choosing between intensives or weekly summer classes.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT POLICY (READ CAREFULLY)
All Company and Corps dancers must complete their required summer intensive hours
Missed time must be pre-approved and formally made up
Failure to complete required hours may result in competition registration being withheld until requirements are met
These expectations are in place to ensure consistency, safety, and preparedness across all programs
We strongly encourage families to plan summer travel around intensive dates.

Strengthening technique
Exploring advanced training at COMAD
Participation does not guarantee placement but is strongly encouraged for students considering Company tracks.
FINAL NOTE ON ACCOUNTABILITY
COMAD’s training programs are built on commitment, preparation, and consistency. Summer intensives are a critical part of that foundation. Our goal is not to limit students, but to ensure every dancer enters the season fully prepared to succeed.
