About Production Fees
Our production fees help cover the essential, real-world costs required to produce high-quality, educational musical theater shows. These fees directly support the following:
🎭 Licensing & Performance Rights
Every musical requires official performance rights and licensing. These fees ensure that COMAD students perform legally, ethically, and professionally in recognized theatrical works.
👗 Costumes & Character Wardrobe
Although COMAD maintains an extensive costume collection, we do not have every size or every specialty outfit. Students often play multiple characters, requiring additional costumes, accessories, or alterations. Production fees help ensure every student looks stage-ready and confident.
🎓 Educational Value
Our productions are not simply performances—they are immersive learning experiences. Students learn blocking, choreography, scene work, vocal projection, musical timing, theatre etiquette, and the discipline of working in an ensemble.
⭐ Professional Instruction & Production Staff
Productions are led by skilled instructors and working theatre professionals. Your child receives top-quality training, artistic guidance, and hands-on performance coaching, giving them real-world theatre experience in a safe, encouraging space.
Your support of production fees allows us to continue offering meaningful, transformative performance opportunities that help students grow artistically and personally.
⭐ Tuition & Billing Structure
Production tuition is billed as three payments:
Charged at the first class
Charged on the 1st of the next month
Charged on the 1st of the following month
This makes participation easier and more affordable for families while ensuring full support for costumes, rights, theatre staffing, and production needs
🌟 Performance Readiness
Students learn the structure of a real theatre environment: tech week, dress rehearsals, costume changes, cues, stage directions, and more.
